How To Apply Eye Liner For A Natural Or Dramatic Look: Easy Eyeliner Tips
Ready for movie star eyes but can't afford a daily makeup artist? With sites like WorldsSexiestWholesale, eBay and Amazon you can get your fav products for less, and a little practice, you'll be ready for the red carpet in no time.
Today its all about the liner. If you already have the perfect blending shadow or are planning to go all-natural, let's get going!
For liner you will want to have two core products;
A soft pencil liner and a good liquid liner.
Begin your lining by sharpening your soft pencil and applying to the lower INSIDE of the eyelid. A good pencil should allow you to coat without having to apply pressure. A good liner should glide gently across lid, instantly transforming it from skin color to solid color. If you have to use heat to soften your pencil, get rid of it! One quality liner will last you many times longer than a cheap, uncomfortable liner that has to be reapplied often.
If you want a very natural look, you're ready for mascara. If you want a sharper, more dramatic look, proceed to the next step.
Now it is time to blend the bottom liner to give the bottom lid a slightly smokey look. You can blend using a tiny makeup brush, a small applicator or an ear swab. Ear swabs, although most common, can be the most difficult to use due to the lack of precision.
Start by putting one very small "dot" of your pencil near the coner of the OUTTER lower lid. This is where a GOOD pencil comes in handy! One small "dot" should be just enough to create the look you want. Take your utensil of choice and gently "blend" the dot using smooth strokes that stay close to the lash line. For a gentle look, only blend for a very small section - just enough to draw focus to the corner of the eye (nearest the ear). For a bolder look, blend half to 3/4 of the way along lower lid (toward nose). For a super bold look, instead of using your pencil, use Liquid Liner.
Now it is time for the top lid. The top lid is really up to you. We prefer liquid liner to ensure no smudging. Star by painting a very, very thin line on the upper lid closest the lashes. Start with the outter corner, closest the ear. If you like the results; stop and head to Mascara.
If you desire more of an evening look or super sexy eyes, continue the line as far as you like. You can also adjust thickness of the line to accommodate.
After your liner is perfect, Get that mascara on and go!

eye liner tips?
I have green eyes. They are usually more gold though, and I have blonde hair. They blend together, and my eyes don't POP. for some reason, i can never get my eye liner to look right. It looks really good when I apply it to the top, but not the bottom. I always look tired when I apply it to the bottom. Do you have any tips on how to apply eye liner to lower lids? thank you!
