QUESTIONNNNN I'VE BEEN WANTING TO ASK FOR A LONG TIME?
Does your mom randomly barge into your room in the middle of nothing? Swings the door open and walks right in? I know about teenagers who always think their parents are interfering, nosy, can't mind their own business, etcetra, but I'm a really traditional kind of person in terms of respecting parents, elders, etcetra......so when I complain about my parents, it's not some stupid teenager thing.
So it's been 2 years now and my mom randomly does the above-she comes into my room, barges in, swings the door open, walks right in, no knocking or warning before she enters. I've been asking for a lock since this pattern continued over months so I can atleast get SOME PRIVACY when I'm changing. But her excuse is to change in the washroom, or "who changes in the middle of nothing at like 6:00 p.m.?" Well, I could be dressing up in different clothes to see how I look in them. But unless it's a washroom, she thinks she can just push her way in. And when I gently, nicely, RESPECTFULLY talked to her about "not coming into my room just like that" or "please get me a lock like EVERY door should have", she gets annoyed and thinks I have an "attitude problem" and too much attitude. She doesn't seem to understand that she's just too egoistic and is taking the fact that she is a "parent" to a way toooo full of an advantage, wrongly. She needs to respect a 13-15 year old girl's privacy and not barge her face in. Once I was changing and luckily I was already in a shirt and was just putting the top on, and she came in once again, and instead of saying sorry and turning back to LEAVE when she saw me changing, she just came in and "touched" me. Touch as in, you know when mothers "lovingly" touch your face or arm, like that. I told her to move, I'm friggin' changing, so she said "well you're wearing all your clothes already!" Um......no, there's a top half way on and I'm not done.
It boils my blood, enrages me, and infuriorates my peaceful mind. I'm not even those people with "anger problems" I'm perfectly fine, and her this intruding act annoys me so bad. My question is, does ANYONE have a mom or dad like this? Please, I must know......she's so bad she won't even get a lock for my door for GOD's sake...I'm 15, c'mon, no more little girl whom she can intrude. Even 5 minutes ago just now, she came in to ask for something....so I told her "next time knock" and she makes a face and says "why what happened.." years and years of privacy intruding and I still forcibly speak normally so she doesn't question my character and tells me I have attitude problems. Those words are starting to prick me now.
Another thing....I put a bit of eyeliner, started in gr 9, and she didn't spare me, she's is SO annoying! So cheap.....imean, every SINGLE time she'd see me with eyeliner on, EVERY SINGLE TIME, she'd say "show me, show me, let's see"...as if I'm some 5 year old putting on make up. And it's just eyeliner, not all that crap make up a lot of stupid girls wear from gr 8. First week she acted that way, fine. Second week, fine. But 3 months after I started wearing eyeliner, she still stares at my face like I'm some moron who's applying make up. Like what? Can she not treat me like a normal individual? Millions of girls start this make up crap from gr 8 and I KNOW their parents don't stare at their friggin' faces and say "let's see" giving those weird "parent" smiles. I'm not a diaper wearing baby who's grown into a toddler. I'm an adolescent grown into a teenager, and eyeliner is pretty sober and unnoticable.......but she made gr 9 hell for me with her annoyingness and retarted issue. I'm in gr 11 now, half way through, and still she is doing the SAME thing, only 2% less. I sometimes feel like smashing my head on the wall. I don't like showing my friggin' face to her when I apply eyeliner maybe once in 3-4 weeks. WHO'S MOTHER IS THIS UGLY? Who's mother can't get her 15 year old a friggin lock for her/his room so he/she can friggin change in peace, and who's mother is so strange that she has this abnormal problem with her daughter applying some eyeliner.
